Storms in Ötztal Alps
This was my first visit to the Austrian Alps and it was non-planned. During this one-month trip around the mountains in Europe I had four free days which I dedicated to a short trekking to the highest peak in Ötztaller region - Wild Spitze. The weather was pretty rainy so, I didn't reach the summit but it was perfect for shooting the scenic landscapes. On the second day while I was waiting on the location, for the first time I realized what exactly a Perfect Light means. You don't see it, you feel it with all your soul!

Messner Mountain Museums - Monte Rite
Monte Rite is an old fortress in the heart of the Dolomites. It has been constructed in 1912-1914 for defence against the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Over the years, its role has changed from a fortress, then a shelter for partisans and a storehouse to the Museum of the Mountain today.

Summer snow
"Summer snow" shows moments at a daylight up in the mountain during climbing. It's not always necessary to wait "the golden hour" for good light and I have to thank a good friend of mine who opened my eyes for this.

Huangshan
In the summer of 2011 I had the chance to visit Huangshan (The Yellow mountain) in the Chinese province of Anhui. I was very lucky to get there in the evening so there were only a few other hikers except me. The light rain and the late hour made people hide inside the chalets so I met the sunset only with my fellow. Nowadays it is a rare opportunity to see this place in peace and silence because of the many tourists that come every day in every season of the year.
